For small subs on ISNetworld · Avetta · Veriforce

Win the contract.
Don't lose it
to paperwork.

SafeBid keeps your safety program, OSHA logs, COIs, and training records audit-ready — so your package is review-ready the moment a GC or network asks, and you keep bidding. Built for small subs, not $5,000-a-year consultants.

Free checklist · no account needed · we'll never sell your info.

"Send me your Safety Plan, SDS and OSHA records." You had nothing. Account closed.

The moment a commercial client asks for your safety package and it isn't ready is the moment you lose the work — not a fine, the actual contract. We heard it in two languages this month: a $100k job lost over safety paperwork, a $120k/yr account gone the same way.

Prequalification questions

What clients actually ask for.

What documents does a GC ask for in safety prequalification?

Most requests cover the same set: a written safety program, OSHA 300 logs with the 300A annual summary, your TRIR and DART rates, an EMR letter, a certificate of insurance with any additional-insured endorsement, training records such as OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 cards, and an SDS library. Site specific plans get added per project.

How is TRIR calculated?

TRIR is the number of OSHA recordable cases multiplied by 200,000, divided by total hours worked in the year. The 200,000 base represents 100 full time employees working 40 hours a week for 50 weeks. DART uses the same formula with cases involving days away, restricted duty, or transfer.

What do prequalification platforms compare my TRIR against?

ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce grade your rates against industry averages for your NAICS code, published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Each client sets its own thresholds, so the same rate can pass with one GC and get flagged by another.

When does the OSHA 300A summary have to be posted?

Post the signed 300A summary from February 1 through April 30 of the following year, in a common area where notices are usually placed. Keep the 300, 300A, and 301 forms for five years.

Does SafeBid calculate my EMR?

No. Your experience modification rate comes from your workers compensation carrier or the rating bureau, usually NCCI. SafeBid stores the value and the letter so you can produce both on request, and it calculates the OSHA rates that do come from your own logs.

Do I need ISNetworld, Avetta, and Veriforce at the same time?

Only the ones your clients require, and many subs end up on more than one. The documents behind them overlap heavily, so SafeBid keeps one current package and exports the answers each network asks for instead of rebuilding the set per platform.
